After the backlash, the BCCI as an immediate after effect, had pulled the players out of the Australia tour. Also they were served show cause notice as an strict action. The BCCI had suspended them for a brief period too.
Pandya had, after the controversy apologized on social media and said, “May have got a bit carried away with the nature of the show.” Karan too had said after the slamming, “I have to say that I feel very responsible because it was my show, my platform. I invited them as guests and so the ramifications and repercussion of the show are my responsibility. Its now gone into a zone which is beyond my control.” He said he asks the same questions on the show to everyone including women and that he has no control on the answers that come his way (from the guests).
